1) After the no-load idle running in of the generator set, carefully inspect it according to the previous method, and ensure that all aspects are normal, the unit can be started. After starting the unit, adjust the speed to idle and run for 10 minutes. And check the oil pressure, listen for the sound of the diesel engine running, and then stop the vehicle.
2) Open the cylinder block side cover plate and touch the temperature of the main bearing, connecting rod bearing, etc. with your hand. The temperature should not exceed 80 ℃, which is normal if it is not too hot. Observe the operation of each component. If the temperature and structure of each component are normal, continue the running in according to the following specifications.
3) Gradually increase the engine speed from idle to rated speed, increasing the speed by 200r/min. However, it should run continuously for 2 minutes at each speed, and the maximum no-load speed running time should not exceed 5-10 minutes. During the running in period, the cooling water temperature should be maintained at 75-80 ℃, and the oil temperature should not exceed 90 ℃.
4) The running in process with increased load must be based on the premise that all aspects of the unit are normal and the load meets the technical requirements. At the rated speed, the load gradually increases during the break in period. Firstly, break in at 25% of the rated load; Run in at 50% of rated load; Run in at 80% of rated load. During the running in period of the engine, check the oil level every 4 hours, replace the lubricating oil, clean the oil pan and oil filter.
5) Check the tightness of bolts such as the main bearing nut, connecting rod nut, cylinder head nut, fuel injection pump, and fuel injector; Check the valve clearance and calibrate it if necessary.
